Nostalgia is in the Air.

It’s been said before, that a fragrance can define each decade and in many cases transport you back to a time or place. Your sense of smell is by far one of your most powerful, yet evocative attributes as it is with Remember When, a luxury fragrance by the new brand MAIR. From the art of perfuming through a quixotic expression, Mair Emenogu, 25, has developed her first fragrance from a strong fundamental of inner-beauty, “I really believe it's the little things in life that bring out the greatness in us.”

Her scent debuted in October 2015 bringing the fragrance industry a rarity of ingredients from different parts of the world, as it is crafted in Grasse, France. “Every step in the fragrance creation process was carefully mastered, weighed, mixed, and filled by hand to create the beauty of Remember When. My main goal was to create an experience present in the top, middle and base notes. It is truly a unique scent not matched to any other perfume on the market,” states Emenogu. Her eau de parfum captures the art of perfumery through its expression of timeless beauty with an infusion of Italian Bergamot, jasmine and amber.

MAIR was conceived from an executive at her former workplace seeing her written signature and stating, “Mair, I can see this on a perfume bottle”. With a strong emotion attached to his words, Emenogu began a journey with master perfumer, Fred Cohen to create her first fragrance she describes as, “glamour that lingers”.

When you immerse yourself into the soft and elegant charm of Remember When’s citrus floral scent, glamourous ad campaigns, and ambitious beginning; it will leave you with a newfound love for niche fragrances and deliver an inspiration to continue pursuing your aspirations.
